Our game is called Work Escape by Equality Wins Tech Inc. We wanted an interactive game that would shed light on the unconscious issue of gender inequality in the workplace. We were inspired to make this game based on the experience of an employee at GoDaddy SF. She was “mistaken” as a receptionist and instead of an engineer on her first day of work.

We wanted an interactive game that would shed light on the unconscious issue of gender inequality in the workplace. We

have two different simulations: a male version and a female version. We want to show how these stereotypes portrayed are

problematic, and how we should respond and stand up to some of these sexist remarks.

Our goal is to acknowledge the gender stereotypes that play in a workplace. We were inspired to make this game based on

the experience of an employee at GoDaddy SF: she was “mistaken” as a receptionist and instead of an engineer on her first

day of work.

One of our technical difficulty was the original game made with Javascript because it is very new to us, so while we kept that version, we created our final games with Scratch.

Because men and women can do each other’s job too!
