Spreading love through sign!

Leah A., Rebecca K., Reina T.B., Sabrina A., Melissa W.

Our team, Unspoken, was interested in adressing the issue of closing communicational barriers for those who are hard of hearing through an accessible website. On our website, users can learn the basics of American Sign Language through our lesson plans.

The deaf and hard of hearing are excluded due to communication barriers. Those who do use sign language have trouble communicating with others, and vice versa.

We created a website to teach American sign language through lesson plans and levels that allow users to go at any preferred pace.

Staying focused was our biggest challenge because our team sings a lot. We overcame this by encouraging each other
