Our project is a website called “The S.H.H.”, for Student High-School Hangout. The website includes a music page where you can watch YouTube videos and listen to music from Spotify. There are pages for an Advice/Message Forum, Job Help (which lists common interview questions as well as a page that lists places that hire teens), and Resume Help (which includes resume templates, as well as some applications for places that hire teens).

Sometimes, looking for resources for career building can be stressful for teenagers who are just starting to look for jobs.

Because job searching can be hard, our group decided to create a fun, more laid-back website for teenagers to access some of these resources.

The most challenging thing about this project was putting everyone’s code together to make the full website.

Another challenging aspect was organizing the website -- this included the pictures, text size, and color to make everyone's different code actually look like it was a part of one website.

"It is a 'one-stop shop'."

We are 5 girls of color from Chicago. We come from all different high schools, and all of us will be juniors for the 2018-19 school year.

This project was made by Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program students at Accenture CHI.
