We are representing those who are discriminated due their race, sexual orientation, sex, etc. Our website stands by them; we believe they deserve respect, and people need to be more aware of their insensitive statements and beliefs that they may not be fully educated on.

We tried to address the existing discrimination that is directed towards racial minority groups, the LGBTQ+ community, and women, and inform others why this is an existing problem that should be resolved.

With our project, we have worked to address the problem of discrimination based on sexuality, race, and gender by respectfully and thoroughly going through stereotypes and explaining how harmful they can be. We integrated real stories told by real people who are affected by discrimination.

A technical difficulty we faced was when one of our most important pages broke at the last minute, and we didn’t know what had caused the problem. In order to fix the problem, we had to thoroughly examine each line of code we wrote until we found the tiny mistake: a missing closing bracket.

"It's amazing that [these girls are] bringing awareness to this existing problem."
