Student Hub is a web application that can be used by high school students to access anything and everything they may need throughout high school. Our website includes features that allow students to look at their grades, assignments, extracurricular activities, and helpful study links. We also added a college tab that includes the colleges that students are most interested in. As a way for students to stay organized and on top of their classes, we added a calendar. Also, for the students to feel more comfortable with the website, in the future we are going to make a way for students to customize the website to their own liking.

We faced the problem of students not being actively involved in their education.

As a solution, we wanted a way for students to have one central location for their school. We built an educational website that gives students access to their grades, assignments, school clubs, and more.

A challenge we faced was trying to figure out how students will be able to log in and access their accounts. Another challenge we faced was trying to figure out how we could put a calendar on our website.

"Wow, the design is so creative! I can't believe you were able to do this project in 2 weeks. This website will be able to help lots of students."

Najae: I’m 15 years old and a rising Junior at South Gwinnett High School. I decided to do GWC because a teacher recommended it, and I’m glad I did because this was an amazing experience.

Khaliah: I’m 16 years old and a rising Junior at Dekalb School of the Arts. I am very interested in media and film. With GWC, I learned to make websites that can help me with starting my own video production company.

Selah: I’m 17 years old and a rising senior at Dekalb School of the Arts. I participated in the GWC Summer Immersion Program because, since I mostly do arts related activities at school, I wanted to explore and learn about computer science.

This project was made by Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program students at First Data ATL.
