Nation Station is a game where the player can travel around the world without leaving their computers. We made game to appeal to the younger generation. Each level takes place in a new country. As you travel through the game, you can collect different facts about the culture and traditions in that country.

The problem that we are trying to solve is the lack of cultural awareness around the world. It is important to be accepting of other cultures because it builds more diverse relationships and brings people together.

Our solution to this problem was to create a web game that can be accessed all over the world. This game provides a fun way to learn about different cultures around the globe.

A technical problem we faced was getting our game onto our website. When putting the canvas on the website, it wouldn't stay within the border of the window, and also using the arrow keys for the game would scroll the window up and down. To overcome this we learned that we weren't containing the canvas very well, so in the css we made a container id that helped contain the canvas, while also keeping the width and height of the canvas we originally had.

"This game helped me connect with my friends of different ethnicities." - Samantha C.
