MoveIt Music is a free health and fitness iOS application designed to encourage people to get active and lead healthy lifestyles. The app contains five pages--Playlist, Maps, Home, Progress, and Profile. MoveIt Music motivates users by creating a personalized playlist of songs that would fit into the exact amount of time their trip takes to reach their next destination.

The problem we were focusing on was obesity in the United States. According to Business Insider, approximately 72.5 million American adults are obese. We then created an app to raise awareness about nutrition and the importance of daily exercise.

MoveIt Music tracks your physical activity and calorie intake to help you stay on track and reach your goals, whether that be gaining weight, losing weight, or maintaining weight.

We had to learn a challenging new programming language for iOS applications called Swift. In order to overcome this obstacle, we taught ourselves through YouTube videos and online step-by-step tutorials.
