Connecting the Unconnected Since '16

MentorMatch provides a network in which users can connect with people who have similar interests through a matching algorithm that takes account of area and certain preferances and will display the percentage of accuracy in matching. MentorMatch will constantly be improving in order to help enhance the networking of those in Northern California.

There is a lack of resources for individuals to obtain advice and assistance in their careers and education.

We created a network in which users can find and connect with mentors based on location and common interests.

A huge technical problem we faced was creating the matching algorithm and accessing data, since the mentors' information was stored within several nested lists and dictionaries.

"It's like Tinder for mentors."

We are four high school students located in the Silicon Valley area.
