Find the perfect make-up match for you

Ariel S, J'nya R, Madina B

An application that allows the user to find the correct make-up for them. Saving them time and money.

Makeup can be a very confusing subject for beginners. Trying new products to fit you can be costly and time-consuming. Bad products can be a waste of money. Finding that perfect product can be extremely hard.

Our technology helps beginners avoid the usual problems that come with being new to makeup. Our app localizes skin tone-scanning technologies to help you find the right colors and continue your journey into the world of makeup.

In the making of our application, we faced many challenges. The first two challenges we encountered were deciding the idea for the project and the amount of time we had. Because we all had so many ideas, figuring out a way to bring them all together in a limited time frame was a challenge. So we decided to have an application that only has one of the wanted features that we plan to add the rest of the features in the future.
The two other challenges were getting the camera to work and finding the ranges our database and making it accurate. The camera was a challenge because we not only had to find a programming language that supports the use of cameras, but also find a language we were familiar with. We also had a challenge with finding the best ranges for our color scheme in order to produce accurate results.
