Linking teens to resources.

We have created a website that helps teens stay connected and informed about opportunities in their community and beyond. This will ensure that they can reach their full potential and be successful not only in their academic careers, but in their personal life as well.

As teens' lives can often get overwhelming and stressful, it can be difficult to know who or where to go to to find resources and programs that can help us achieve our academic and personal goals.

By creating a website that compiles different resources into one, we are able to facilitate the search for opportunities for teens. Based on our audience's interests we have categorized our website into four main tabs: Internships & Jobs, College, Community Service, and Events. We also have a Contact Us tab so that we can receive more resources from our audience and also suggestions on how to improve our site. Another part of our website is an About Us page that contains information about the creators and the purpose of the website.

One technical difficulty we faced was finding a way to post the different events on our website without having to go into the code itself. We overcame this by using an RSS widget that allowed us to incorporate the Google Blogger App into the website to post and display the events.
