The website for the queen whose hair is everywhere!

Our website was created to promote natural hair confidence within African American Queens. We, as young African American women, know the struggle of having natural hair. These struggles include false advertising, long hours in beauty supply stores, and something we like to call perm pressure. We want you to embrace your natural beauty. Kakka’s Kinky Hair is just for you.

There are NOT enough of the right kind of hair products advertised for women with coarse (kinky) natural hair. This problem makes it hard to find the right hair products, but only for the women who have not permed their hair. Do to the way we (African American women) were born, which is naturally a kinky headed Queen, it is hard to find products for our hair that actually work, especially through advertisements.

Advertisers market products for our hair all the time, but it doesn’t help to have somebody on the screen who you know for certain doesn’t have any real issues with their hair.

The solution was to find every hair product we could to match every curly, kinky, natural hair type. With that, we built a website with videos, tips, tutorials, and all sorts of recommendations for women with those types of hair. We found that our solution would be to help all the way, unlike advertisers and product makers who help halfway.

Solution comes easy when you can relate to the problem. So, with the constant struggle of our own natural hair, we all wanted to help others come up out of any struggle period with their hair, ourselves included.

One challenge that we faced was making our code match up. When we added all of our code together, something would end up not working. We overcame this issue by not working on the same web page code at the same time and being patient.

"Very informative website for naturals who just don't know what to do!"
