"A site for teen looking for internships cause were all on the same boat"

Our goal in making this website is to connect teenagers in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area with local STEM companies looking for high school interns. Many teenagers have trouble looking for internships that can help them gain insight on or prepare for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields. Finding an opportunity that is open to high school applicants, within commuting distance, and isn’t wildly expensive could take weeks of scouring the Internet or may not be found in time to meet application deadlines. By having a website that promotes several internships with regard to grade level and location, the process will be simplified and may even encourage more teenagers to gain experience in technology before picking a major.

We build a site to help teen apply and find internships in STEM fields.

Our original plan included a quiz that would filter though google and jobs sites that would give your job opportunity in the area and state you plugged in.
