Our project Huddle Up is a web app that helps you plan things better and easier. You can add your schedule to your calendar and share it with your friends so that they know when you'll be available to hang out. Our app is easy to use and very helpful for those who have a busy schedule.

The problem is that many people are always busy and never have the time to plan events, or their friends are busy as well so you never know what day would be the best to go out without messing up both of the persons schedule.

We addressed it by creating a webapp for anybody who has trouble making plans and to make it easier.

The technical problem we faced was trying to incorporate django into the bootstrap template. At first, we had a tough time figuring out how to store information using django. However, we overcame this problem by watching and looking up tutorials.

We are four junior and senior girls who are in the Adobe Emeryville class. We joined the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program with no experience at all about coding and computer science. However, throughout this program, we grew to find an interest in this field. When we started Girls Who Code we were overwhelmed by the amount of girls from all over the bay area, but as the program went on we have formed lasting friendships surrounding a common interest of STEM. The environment at GWC has been so encouraging since we all started at the same place.
