Choose your character, make choices, learn about bullying

We decided to create a project that would educate people on how girls bully. This issue is rarely addressed by teachers and adults, so we chose to create a game that would provide information on it. In our game, you can choose what character you want to be, and you will navigate through a verbal exchange in the hallway. Based on your choices, you will learn different strategies about combatting bullying.

Bullying is a serious problem in many girls' lives, and many people do not know this.

We want to make sure that girls know that they are not alone, and that there are ways to be an upstander and to avoid negative behaviors.

Since everyone worked on their tasks in their individual accounts, it was a big job to compile our project. We used Code Brainstorms and the Backpack function to move code from project to project, and worked together to put all of the sprites, scripts, and stages together.

"Working on this project was a lot of fun and was a great way to finish this awesome camp!"

Hi! We are middle school students at the GWC Campus program. We had a lot of fun over these past two weeks, and learned about Scratch, leadership, and time management skills.
