Our app allows the user to know where their trash goes. The user inputs what object they want to dispose of and the app will tell the user whether it is compost, recycle, or landfill. The user is also able to learn more facts about each category and they have an option of locating the nearest recycle, compost, or landfill center nearest to them.

The amount of waste produced over the world each year is increasing every single day. A lot of people will throw their trash in landfill instead of composting or recycling it because they are not aware of where it should go.

We created an app that allows users to determine where they should dispose their trash. We hope that our app will inform more people and this will slowly help better the environment.

We used a coding language that none of us had any experience with. It took us some time to learn but in the end we realized that this language was very easy and effective to use.
