Choose your path, fight your symptoms, and eliminate stigmas.

Fantastical End is a game that acknowledges the stigmas that surround getting help for mental illness. It is a text-only, turn-based RPG in which you take on the role of a character with a mental illness. As that character, you battle monsters that represent the symptoms of their illness.

Mental illnesses are not taken seriously and are often ignored. People with mental illnesses are often wrongly stereotyped.

Fantastical End allows the user to sympathize with those who have a mental illness through a game.

We had problems integrating the music into the game, as we had not worked with pygame before.

"A really innovative and engaging way to address mental health. And thoughtful!" -Jane Birman

Maddie, Lauren, Ada, and Marlem are all from the Chicagoland area, and wanted to spread awareness about mental illness. They really enjoyed working together to create something that can impact people globally.
