Find a famous female!

Ally C., Anna M., Nyah J., Sophie L.

FamouslyFEMALE was created by a group of four high school girls to promote awareness for female ingenuity in history. Top women are featured on a map and are changed monthly by user voting. Users can add inspiring women to the website by filling out a form and sending in a contact request to make suggestions as well.

Often times, it is hard to find a female role model to look up to. However, our website reveals many inspiring women in history that girls can look up to.

Our website displays a map of inspiring females that include a description of each woman. Also, a long extensive list of all the women included on the site assures that there is a role model for every girl. This sparks a flame of inspiration in the user by connecting them with a role model they can truly relate to.

Constructing a database was a large problem we faced, but we overcame it by using a local database instead.

"This project is very inspirational." - Raphi K.
