Help Children With Disabilities

Our website, "EB LEARNING" was created to help children with disabilities. It has interactive activities, programmed in Scratch, tailored to the issues the children with the disability have. Through these activities, we hope to provide children with ways to improve disabilities, such as Down Syndrome, Depression, Autism, and ADHD. Furthermore, it contains information to educate parents, teachers, and others.

The problem we are looking to improve is the resources available to children with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, and that is what our website allows children to do.

We created a website by choosing four disabilities: depression, down syndrome, autism, and ADHD. We created activities that help children with each of those disabilities.

We had trouble embedding our Scratch games into our HTML and CSS files, however with the help of the Internet and our mentors, we were able to figure it out.

"Very thoughtful and full of creative details like the pencil cursor!"

Our group consists of two rising seniors, and one rising junior. We are all interested in coding and developing projects that can benefit those in need. We chose to create “EB LEARNING” because we realized that there are not many resources available to children with disabilities, and we wanted to change that. Hopefully some day we can make our webiste an app, making it more accessible to all.
