We created a website to help students find their ideal college. We used Javascript to print the list of colleges based on the user’s input to the GPA, ACT, and SAT fields. We then used CSS and Bootstrap to design our website.

The goal is to help students applying to colleges who are having a difficult time narrowing down their college options. As high school seniors, we are experiencing a very similar dilemma, and it is difficult finding a website that can help us determine the kind of college we would like to attend.

A solution to this problem is creating a space where students applying to colleges can input their GPA, SAT and ACT scores to receive a list of colleges based on their inputs.

One of the biggest challenges for us was getting buttons on Javascript that would print lists of colleges based on user input. We tried many different things for a few days, and in the end, our teachers’ help is what guided us to get the buttons to work.

Hello our names are Archana, Marielle, and Andrea. We are high school seniors and juniors from the Bay Area.
