Informing incoming high school students about the resources available for college.

The website we designed contains tabs about College Requirements, Financial Aid, UC's, CSU's, and Community Colleges with their location and school website. We also developed a quiz where it asks you about the major(s) you are interested in, and based on that, it gives you the top three schools for that specific major along with the annual tuition, and teacher to student ratio. The website only focuses on schools in California.

We were inspired to create this website because, in our communities, a lot of students are not informed enough about college.

We are addressing this by introducing our website to each of our high schools and sharing it with other local schools.

On our final day of the program, the quiz wouldn't work when uploaded to GitHub, and some of the tabs weren't working. We had to go through each line of code and debug it. It took a long time, but with help we were able to fix it by combining JavaScript with HTML.

"It's such a helpful website. Now I know more about different types of financial loans."
