Educational, User-Friendly Feminist Website

This project is a collaboration of coding and girl power. We created a web site for young girls to help unite and inform about popular issues occurring in our world right now. The main audience we are trying to reach are young women. However, the site is open to anyone who would like to use it.

We at Boibye believe that these issues we disclose on our website are vital information for all women and girls should be informed of. Knowledge is important and a lot of the topics we discuss aren’t covered by most major media broadcasts.

We want to help this problem by creating an open, positive, safe forum for women to read and interact with these topics that we talk about.

We struggled with a lot of the JavaScript and making buttons to take you to where we wanted them as well. We overcame this by working together and using the resources we had access to.

Boibye is a user friendly web app that allows girls to not only read but send in content of their own.

This project was made by Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program students at Twitter (Boston).
